8:05 pm - Humboldt is really cold
|
I wake up every morning walk out and almost fall. Stupid ice. Its way cold here and there is ice everywhere in the morning. Im finally getting my computer fixed so soon I will be able to do this in my own room. YAY. I have one more week of school and then finals. For some reason though I dont have any homework and my finals are going to be really easy. So Im pretty happy about that. I am not happy about needing to where long underwear though. I cant wait to come home and be in warm weather.

Yesterday I worked at this guys house. For crew we heav to raise money and one of the ways we do it is by doing yard work and stuff. So I tore out blackberry bushes for three or four hours. Then I mowed the lawn. I never thought I would really enjoy mowing a lawn. My hands hurt cause blackberry bushes have thorns and I got pricked like a hundred times. The middle fingertip on the left hand is all jacked up cause the gloves I was wearing had a big hole there.
I ate blackberry pie last night to get back at that evil plant.
Yesterday was Humboldt's last football game. We lost and Seth messed up his leg. He has a huge brace.

So I think most of you know that I got into an accident about two years ago where two people died. But if you dont know Josh Landon and I were driving to a water polo game and two people a woman and her daughter ran out in front of us and they both died. (Josh was driving and there was seriously nothing he could ahve done to avoid the accident)
So yeah... the father was kind of upset, I mean who wouldnt be, but anyway he kept trying to sue Josh and stuff but then he didnt. And I figured since its been like 2 years it was pretty much over. But no. I was in Sacramento on saturday because of crew and my mom called me to let me know that I would be called by Josh's Mom and that I was probably going to have to go to trial. So I talked to Josh's Mom and she was cool. And then the lawyer called me. And we went over what happened(while I was going poo). Haha. And the lawyer said he definitly wants me to testify. The problem is that it is in ventura and they arent sure when the trial will be. So he said I might be able to testify on video.
So that was weird.

Today is halloween and Im going to be writing a paper all day. Tomorrow I have to get up at 5:30 for practice. This is lame. The best holiday for college and I cant really prticipate.

So this morning in the shower I was thinking about hercules (the disney movie). The Greek Gods are all white as far as I can remember. I thought this was funny. There were other things Ive been thinking about, but I forgot all of them.
Jesse's friends are here this weekend. They are pretty cool. One of them is named Alex. Seeing them though reminds me of my friend. I miss you guys.
Im talking to Tobi on AIM. I cant wait to go back to Germany, whenever that may be. I keep trying to go to the study abroad office to see how that all works and when I can do it and stuff. But evertime I go the person is gone. Its stupid. The hours are posted on the door. If hours are posted you would think the people would be availible in those hours. Whatever.
Last night we had crew practice in the rain. That was kind of cool. The water was really nice, but I was soaked. Then when we lifted the boat out of the water all the cold rain water from in the boat got all over me. So needless to say I had to ride home with no shirt so I wouldnt get Colin's car too wet.
OK Im done writing.

So my computer is broken along with the three button on my cell phone, and like my whole suite. I think the first two are at least partially my fault. Or microsofts, Assholes. The suite being messed up isnt my fault, Im not big enough. Kurt punched a hole in the wall(drunk). Somebody else messed up the stalls for the stalls(drunk). And the vent got jacked up(wresteling).
So Im doing pretty well in all my classes. That is a good thing, esspecially since I dont go a lot. and I cant spell.
I think I just cleared up a big confusion in my life. Im happy about that. Kinda.
Im still sleeping like ten hours a day. Starting to piss me off.
And Ive decided that I am going to excell in life. Excell to me means nothing even close to what it means to the rest of you, so dont worry about it (has a lot to do with my vocabularium)

So I sleep a lot more in college than I ever slept at home. Im confused on this, but whatever. Im going for a drive this weekend. I cant wait to be back in a car. That is confusing too.
Ive decided that college is going to be a good experience for me. Im learning how to do many things. Some probably more useful than others. One of those things is how to do well in classes without doing work. I thought I had done well with this in high school, but I am getting better. Ive realized you cant get away with doing no work. Just dont do a lot. Except for in English. I think thats the only class you just cant bullshit.
I want to go surfing really bad. I dont have anything here to surf with and no maney to buy it. Oh well I'll surf when I get home.
My Mom had to put our Dog to sleep today. That made me kinda sad but it hasnt really hit me yet or something. Im going to miss her. I cope with things very slowly.
I miss evrybody, but college is great. This thing probably sounds all emo. Sorry, Im actually in a pretty good mood.

So going home was awesome. I saw all these cool people. Thanks for hangin out with me. Yeah I dont feel like saying more.
On the way back my flight out of San Fran got cancelled. So I had to spend the night there. Luckily Devon and Chris are awesome people and took car of me. Thank you soooooo much. So Im back now and I had a really awesome weekend.

Today I woke up for crew at 5:30. I was to tired to even put my shirt on right. I didnt go to bed until 2:00. We rowed on the machines today and like half way through the coach looked at me and he was like"your shirt is on backwords and inside out." It was funny.
This weekend was ok. I didnt really do a whole lot. Hung out, went to parties. I guess it was pretty good till last night.

Mike and Carlos went home this weekend. I really wanted to go but they left on thursday and I have to meet with my english teacher today. Kinda lame. Carlos said he will get me in n out though so I feel a little better.
I joined crew(rowing). I get up at 5:30 on mon. wed. and fri. That sucks. This morning we played frisbee though so that was fun.
Im really tired cause I couldnt fall asleep till 2 last night. I was in bed for three hours before I could sleep.
Tonight is the first crew practice Im going to where we actually are in boats. So Ill see if I actually like the sport.
